Our mission is to educate, collaborate and provide a multitude of complementary and alternative/advanced medical (c.a.m.) therapies free of charge to our communities. These methods include, but are not limited to: mindfulness practice, meditation, yoga & yoga therapy, acupressure, counseling, and energies therapies.
We aim to educate the public by offering free workshops and teaching these modalities to volunteers who can provide these therapies such as mindfulness/meditation, yoga, etc. to populations in domestic abuse shelters, homeless shelters, boys and girls clubs, veteran centers, retirement homes, schools, etc.
We also host a collective of therapists and healers, creating an exchange of wellness practice among our members/volunteers. As well, we provide individual sessions to members in our communities to foster more relaxation, healing and wellness.
We produce self-care pamphlets, brochures, ebooks and classroom texts on those practices, which have been scientifically peer-reviewed, and which serve to benefit and enlighten those in our communities.
We also host fundraising events whereby we provide c.a.m. therapies in exchange for donations towards causes that are impacted by wellness, whether physical, mental or emotional. For example, we might host a fundraising event to bring attention to domestic violence or environmental issues.
Our organization exists to alleviate the burden of the high costs of c.a.m. which is generally only available to those who can afford it. We aim to serve the underserved and underprivileged populations in our communities, wherever and whenever possible. We believe that every human being deserves the opportunity to experience and enjoy complementary and advanced therapies to aid in his or her own healing journey.
